"El Payador is a contemporary, fruit driven Argentinian Malbec created in partnership with third generation Mendoza winemaker Jorge Daniel Falasco.
The wine is sourced from a single high altitude vineyard at over twelve hundred metres above sea level and primarily matured in seasoned French oak. It's the perfect 'one size fits all' Argentinian red - fleshy and ripe enough to be gluggable but with the palate weight and oak structure to reward the more discerning drinker.
The finish is long and dry making it a perfect partner for robust dishes and grilled red meats. It's obvious value. Buy with confidence."
Sam Kim writes "Wonderfully ripe and inviting, the bouquet shows dark plum, mulberry, anise and hazelnut characters with a hint of cocoa. It's beautifully weighted and supple on the palate, offering excellent fruit intensity and silky tannins, making it highly enjoyable."
