Our Merlot dominant blend is grown in the Gimblett Gravels Winegrowing District located on the ancient bed of the Ngaruroro River which changed course in 1867 to expose soils for possible cultivation.
Darkest red with purple hues. Vibrant nose of cassis, violets, boysenberry and the finest toasted oak. A richness of fruit emerges on first taste with beautifully integrated oak and fine dusty tannin creating a long and delicious finish.
