Terra Sancta Slapjack Block Pinot Noir

Pale ruby. Quite lifted aromas of raspberry and rose with a touch of volatility and cherry balsamic. This tang carries through to the palate, adding a twist of sour cherry to the complex, layered flavours of anise, licorice and raspberry coulis. The tannins are very fine, giving an impression of silk. A daringly expressive wine which goes right to the edge of minimal intervention. It won't be for everyone as the tart volatility is hard to ignore, but there is plenty of detail and complexity underneath for those who are willing to overlook it
