Appears dark red with deep purple hues. Showing a lifted perfumed nose of blackcurrant and cassis fruit and followed by a chocolate oak, a hint of mint and enticing spice character. The palate shows dark berry fruit flavours upfront with hints of dried herbs and red florals. Supple varietal tannins provide a classical framework and weight to the wine which finishes with integrated fruit and an oak driving long finish.
