Made from 85% Sangioviese, 10% Merlot and 5% from other grapes – Chianti undergoes a fermentation process for approximately 8 days only. The process takes with a controlled temperature of 28-29°C.
Frequent pumping as well as delastages is made to provide intense and constant fruit nuance. The wine is stored until March in thermo-conditioned tanks.
Aside from the attractive purple red color, Chianti’s aromas of cherries with gentle spicy notes make it more prominent in the wine industry. It is also a plus that the wine is agreeable and long on the palate and shows a good structure and a noticeable competence.
