Distilled in small batches, Hector’s Platinum Ink Gin opens with bright citrus and delicate herbaceous notes before settling into a clean, structured palate with subtle salinity and elegant briny minerality. Butterfly pea extract gives the gin its deep ink-blue colour, shifting to a vivid pink-mauve when tonic is added, bringing a touch of theatre without taking anything away from the quality of the spirit itself. Like its Dry counterpart, it is smooth, balanced and distinctly of place, but with a bold visual edge that makes it especially good for gifting or impressing guests.
